Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid sewer and drain service training, plus continuing training is available if you want to learn the plumbing trade and pursue a journeyman plumber's license.ResponsibilitiesRoto-Rooter drain service technicians use their skills to provide solutions to sewer and drain problems.A service call begins with diagnosing problems then providing cost estimates to close the sale.Unclog and clean sewers and drains for the customer using Roto-Rooter equipment and tools.Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.Collect payment and move on to the next service call.RequirementsA valid driver's licenseEffective communication skills.A mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior experience is not necessary.BenefitsAt Roto-Rooter, we believe our most significant investment is in our employees.
