Technician, Field Svc I- Brooklyn/Queens

This position is based in the Brooklyn/Queens territory. Responsibilities Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with accurate documentation and record‑keeping. Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, and on‑site maintenance. Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills. Ensure the performance of assigned machines. Facilitate performance at a level that helps achieve branch/district overall metric targets. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent experience. Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period plus the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; ability to travel as required. Must obtain any security or customer clearances required to enter customer premises. Ability to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). Compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID‑19 vaccination and other related measures. Compensation and Benefits Hourly wage: $19.00 – $25.49. Eligible for a transportation allowance.
