Job Description
Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Catheterization Lab

Schedule
3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), including weekends, holidays, on-call, and charge per unit.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements
- 2 years of Cath Lab experience
- New York RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS (AHA) certification
- Moderate sedation training
- Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience
- Experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, and cardiac interventions
- Mechanical circulatory support experience including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and LVAD
- Critical care or cardiac experience required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to cardiac patients in the catheterization lab.
- Collaborate with various healthcare team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
- Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Document patient care and maintain compliance with facility regulations.
- Educate patients and families on procedures and care plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Must be trained in moderate sedation.
- Ongoing education in cardiac care techniques is preferred.
