At Lee Residential Care, we’re looking for compassionate and reliable individuals to join our team as Live-In Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This unique role offers the opportunity to live in a shared home environment while providing consistent, meaningful support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

As a live-in DSP, you’ll play an essential role in creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging home where individuals can thrive, build independence, and feel a true sense of belonging.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll be part of daily home life while supporting individuals in a person-centered way. Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and teaching independent living skills based on individualized plans
• Assisting with daily routines such as meal preparation, household tasks, and community activities
• Providing personal care as needed (bathing, dressing, hygiene, etc.)
• Encouraging social engagement and community inclusion
• Offering emotional support, guidance, and problem-solving assistance
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment
• Completing documentation and communicating regularly with the team
• Coordinating with staff and administration to meet each individual’s needs

Live-In Schedule & Expectations

• Reside in the home during scheduled shifts, including overnight presence
• Be available to respond to needs as they arise, including occasional overnight support
• Balance active support time with scheduled breaks and personal time (as defined by your schedule)
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries while fostering a home-like environment

No Experience? No Problem.

You do not need prior certification to apply.
Lee Residential Care provides paid training and certification, so you’ll have everything you need to succeed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass required background checks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to live and work within a shared home environment
• Dependability, flexibility, and a compassionate mindset
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
