Work Environment
Working in our outpatient office, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive team dedicated to orthopedic therapy. The office setting is designed for optimal patient interactions, featuring treatment rooms equipped with the latest rehabilitation equipment. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' orthopedic conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that address their individual goals and needs.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to implement effective therapies, guiding patients through rehabilitation exercises that promote mobility and pain relief while minimizing the need for medications.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive care plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education on injury prevention and management.
- Create personalized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the unique requirements of each patient, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- Monitor patient progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Engage patients and their families in their rehabilitation process, providing them with necessary education and support to foster independence.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on patients suffering from various orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to joint injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain disorders. You will work closely with individuals ranging from athletes to older adults, each with unique rehabilitation needs and goals. This role is fundamental in helping patients navigate their recovery paths, allowing them to return to their daily activities with improved functionality and reduced pain.
Qualifications
- A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
- An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist is mandatory, ensuring adherence to all required regulatory standards.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in physical therapy, particularly in managing musculoskeletal injuries and orthopedic conditions.
- Strong foundational knowledge of orthopedic therapies and a passion for patient care.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to foster meaningful connections with patients and their families.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a clinical outpatient setting focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
- Familiarity with treatment planning software and electronic health record systems to efficiently document patient care.
- Continued education or certifications in specialized areas of physical therapy practice.
Compensation and Benefits
Interventional Pain & Spine Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
