- Assemble defect-free paint marking units, parts, and accessories according to engineering specifications, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Assemble mechanical systems such as hydraulics, paint tanks, compressors, and striping mechanisms based on blueprints and schematics.
- Install and align components including pumps, valves, actuators, and control panels using hand and power tools.
- Fit and secure parts using bolts, screws, clips, or welding equipment to ensure structural integrity and operational safety.
- Connect mechanical and pneumatic systems to ensure proper function of paint dispensing and striping equipment.
- Integrate automated striping systems with truck chassis, ensuring proper calibration and alignment.
- Mount auxiliary systems such as heating units, air dryers, and material hoppers required for paint application.
- Collaborate with electrical and control teams to coordinate mechanical-electrical interface points.
- Inspect assembled components for defects, alignment, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Test mechanical systems to verify functionality before final delivery or further integration.
- Document assembly procedures and maintain records for traceability and quality assurance.
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, checklists, and BOMs
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to quality
- Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support other departments
- Knowledge of basic shop math
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (Note: We do not test for THC)
- Experience in assembly or manufacturing is a plus but not required
