Responsibilities
Deke’s Garage Roadhouse BBQ is looking for experienced bartenders as well as food runners for our neighborhood bar and restaurant in Philly’s Germantown neighborhood.
We’re looking for people who embody Deke’s core values of good food, good times and the highest level of hospitality in our down-home setting. Our bar features one of the more extensive bourbon and whiskey lists in northwest Philly, along with a full menu of liquor, beer, and cocktails. Our barbeque menu—all smoked in-house—is the best, having been featured by numerous local television and radio stations.
We value team-players ready to play a number of roles to ensure the best customer experience. All our bartenders are also servers both for our 15-seat bar and on the floor where we have indoor and outdoor seating for over 100 guests. We also have a robust takeout business that is supported by bartenders and food runners while taking care of in-house guests.
Food Runners: No experience required. Must be able to multi-task, process orders accurately and provide a good customer experience.
Positions are part-time, 2-3 shifts a week with more possible depending upon the season. Both daytime (11 AM) and evening (5 PM) shifts available. Weekend availability is a must
