Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Subacute Position

Position located at Corona Rehabilitation Hospital in Corona, CA. The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center® began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital. Since that time the hospital has changed to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community. The merged hospitals are now a 238-bed community hospital network comprised of a 160-bed acute care hospital and a 78-bed rehabilitation campus. It is certified by The Joint Commission, employs more than 1,250 trained healthcare workers and has a medical staff of approximately 347 physicians representing more than 40 specialties.

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practices under the direction of the professional Registered Nurse (RN). The LPN/LVN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care. This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, clerical stocking, phlebotomy, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested. Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times. Follows standard of care as defined within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse and reflects the American Nurses Association's Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act.

LVN Job Requirements: Current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the State of California. Current BLS (CPR) required through the American Heart Association.
