IT Technician

Calhoun is adding a Technician to our IT team who will provide support to almost 200 users. We are a top commercial construction services company with offices in Louisville and Lexington. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for Help Desk requests Troubleshoot, diagnose, and document hardware, software, and connectivity issues; resolve incidents in a timely manner and elevate when needed Provide end-user training and day-to-day assistance while adhering to company policies, IT standards, and security requirements Configure and deploy computers and peripherals; install, update, and maintain approved software applications Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory Pursue ongoing training and professional development to improve technical skills and service delivery Represent the company professionally with a consistent commitment to quality and customer service Perform other duties and special projects as assigned Requirements Positive and professional attitude Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written) Preferred: IT certifications Microsoft Windows operating systems knowledge, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support Preferred: Willingness to learn and support cloud services administration (e.g., VoIP, M365, security software) Dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license Calhoun is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to a policy of nondiscrimination in employment on any basis including race, creed, color, age, sex, religion or national origin or any other protected class.
