About the Position

Job Title

CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Location

Peoria, IL

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Every 3rd weekend required (Friday/Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scanning procedures in a high-acuity, high-volume radiology department equipped with 5 GE CT scanners
• Operate GE CT scanner equipment proficiently and in accordance with department protocols
• Start and manage IV access for patients requiring contrast or other intravenous administration
• Function effectively in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment with a high patient volume
• Document and manage imaging workflows using Epic EMR and PACS systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois radiologic technology license (or confirmation that the application process has been initiated)
• ARRT certification (CT specialty)
• IEMA licensure
• BLS certification
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs independently
• Level 1 trauma experience and ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel/contract assignment experience
• Hands-on experience with GE CT scanner equipment
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and radiology PACS platforms
