Technical Program Manager - Data Enablement

Medtronic seeks a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional data enablement initiatives across surgical capital products. The role involves coordinating R&D, quality, regulatory, IT, and commercial teams while translating business objectives into technical roadmaps for connected-device capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional data enablement programs owning scope, schedule, dependencies, risk, and executive reporting
• Identify, evaluate, and manage internal and external partners for data, connectivity, and cloud services
• Define ENT data strategy and translate into actionable program roadmaps and prioritized backlogs
• Ensure programs meet Medtronic quality, regulatory, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements
• Guide project teams through data architecture trade-offs including latency, security, and bandwidth in operating room settings

Requirements

• Bachelor's in technical field with 5 years relevant program/project management experience, or Master's with 3 years experience
• Leadership of cross-functional technical programs from concept through launch with schedule and risk ownership
• Experience delivering connected-device or IoT capabilities including device-to-cloud data flows
• Demonstrated vendor evaluation, selection, and management of third-party technology partners
• Ability to translate business, clinical, and end-user needs into documented technical requirements and roadmaps
• Experience in medical device development or regulated product environments preferred
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR, DICOM) and EHR/EMR systems preferred
