Emergency Department Technician (EMT) | Mid-Shift

Job Summary Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a part‑time Emergency Department Technician/EMT to join our Emergency Services team in LaCrosse, WI. The role is part‑time, 48 hours biweekly (0.6FTE), with duties performed on day shifts and rotating weekends/holidays. What You’ll Do Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, working within a multidisciplinary team of providers, nurses, and support staff. Assess, treat, and monitor patients in resuscitation, trauma, critical care, and behavioral health rooms. Assist with laboratory, X‑ray, surgical, and interventional cardiac services as needed. Support the emergency disposition process and maintain a safe, efficient environment. Follow protocols for patient safety, infection control, and emergency procedures. Document patient care accurately and promptly for all clinical records. What You’ll Need High School Diploma or equivalency. National Registry Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (NREMT) or Wisconsin Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT‑B). Current Infant‑Adult Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers. Prior experience in an emergency or pre‑hospital setting preferred.
