Business Operations Associate

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing technology company, for a Business Operations Associate to join their team on a fully remote basis. This is a great opportunity for an early-career professional who wants hands-on exposure to how a technology business runs day to day, working closely with operations, finance, and cross-functional teams to keep projects and processes moving smoothly.

Day to day, you will juggle a mix of recurring reporting, ad hoc requests, and process cleanup, so no two days look exactly alike. People who thrive in this role are naturally organized, comfortable with spreadsheets and data, and energized by finding a better way to do something rather than just repeating it. You will have plenty of room to learn, ask questions, and grow into broader operations responsibilities over time.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations across scheduling, reporting, and internal requests
• Maintain and update trackers, dashboards, and shared operational documents
• Assist with data entry, data cleanup, and basic data analysis in spreadsheets
• Help identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track
• Prepare recurring reports and summaries for operations leadership
• Document standard operating procedures and update as processes evolve
• Monitor operational metrics and flag anomalies or issues
• Assist with onboarding logistics for new tools, vendors, or team members
• Respond to internal stakeholder questions and requests in a timely manner

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 0 to 2 years of experience in operations, business support, or a related area
• Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
• Comfortable working with data and spotting patterns or errors
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities independently
• Comfortable working in a fully remote, fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools such as Asana or Notion is a plus
