THE ROLE: As anExecutive Director, Client Partner, you are a cornerstone of our agency's leadership team, responsible for the overarching health, growth, and strategic direction of a major business pillar. You act as a high-level partner to the C-suite of our most significant clients, guiding them through growth opportunities. This is a role for a seasoned leader who balances high-stakes commercial accountability with a passion for pioneering new service models and fostering a culture of Growth Invention across multidisciplinary teams. This role features a hybrid schedule, including 2-3 days onsite with the client team. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

New York, NY Salary Range $200,000-$275,000 USD
- Strategic Business Stewardship: Own the P&L and commercial success for a large-scale portfolio of clients, ensuring long-term sustainability and aggressive growth.
- C-Suite Advisory: Serve as a primary strategic consultant for executive-level clients, influencing their long-term business roadmaps and positioning DEPT® as their most essential partner.
- Agency Evolution: Partner with the executive leadership team to define and refine DEPT®'s service offerings, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of tech, media, and creative integration.
- High-Stakes Growth: Lead and win major pitches and complex contract negotiations.
- Operational Leadership: Architect efficient, high-performing team structures across multiple crafts to ensure delivery excellence and optimal utilization at scale. Innovate on the operational model to find the most efficient way to deliver results to our clients.
- Executive Mentorship: Cultivate the next generation of agency leaders, providing high-level coaching to Group Directors and Directors while championing diversity and inclusion.
- Brand Ambassadorship: Act as a thought leader in the industry, representing DEPT®'s vision of Growth Invention in global forums, press, and industry events.
- Proven Experience: 15+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 12 years in senior agency or in-house leadership roles, managing large-scale client portfolios.
- Commercial Mastery: Expert-level understanding of agency operations, including complex P&L management, procurement navigation, and legal/contractual negotiations.
- Visionary Thinking: The ability to synthesize complex trends in AI, tech, and media into actionable business strategies for global brands.
- Inspirational Leadership: A track record of leading large, diverse, and multidisciplinary teams toward a shared vision of excellence.
- Exceptional Influence: Mastery in navigating complex,client organizations and building consensus among disparate stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "get sh*t done" attitude combined with the strategic patience required to build long-term, multi-year partnerships.
