Reporting to the Department Supervisor, you will serve as a main resource to team members and regularly engage with each individual, including providing process knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice. What You Will Do As a production team leader, you will be on-site offering leadership skills and knowledge to team members – for activities such as manufacturing, processing, operating, packing or unloading Instruct your teams on the proper use of safety equipment and emergency procedures should they be necessary at any point during the production process Hold responsibility for meeting quality assurance standards as set by industry programs, such as ISO and Six Sigma Be accountable for maintaining regular communication with interrelated departments, such as distribution and engineering, to plan and execute production goals efficiently Encourage team effort, positive attitude and support between teammates What You Need to Succeed High School Diploma or GED required Two (2) years’ experience in the process area in which group leader position exists and working knowledge of area processes and job content Prior experience leading teams High level of responsibility; if not, training and support will be provided Allegion is a Great Place to Grow Your Career if You are seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
