Job Description

Job Summary:
Provides technical support and assistance during interventional cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate execution under the supervision of cardiologists. Combines technical expertise, patient interaction, and adherence to safety protocols to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists, radiologists, and nurses with procedures in the Interventional Cath Lab.
• Prepare and operate specialized equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, documenting relevant data.
• Maintain strict compliance with all safety, privacy, and regulatory standards.
• Support patient assessment, education, and communication to foster cooperation and confidence.
• Mentor and train students or new team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• Credentialed with BLS (AHA), RCES, CRT, or RCIS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Interventional Cath Lab setting, with structural heart procedures preferred.
• Valid CA State Nursing License uploaded within the last 2 weeks.
• Proven technical competence in catheterization laboratory procedures.
• Strong communication and patient interaction skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
