Job Description:


We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support product development and engineering initiatives within a medical technology and manufacturing environment.


This role works across multidisciplinary engineering teams and contributes throughout the product lifecycle, from early concept development through market release and sustaining activities. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, solving complex technical problems, and collaborating with stakeholders across engineering and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide systems engineering leadership and technical support for products and projects involving multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Translate stakeholder and user needs into system concepts, requirements, and technical solutions.
• Develop, decompose, and manage system requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain requirements traceability to support product development and verification activities.
• Develop and evaluate system architectures and models.
• Conduct trade studies, simulations, and technical analyses to support engineering decisions.
• Support system-level integration and troubleshooting.
• Contribute to or lead system verification activities as appropriate.
• Evaluate technical risks, competing priorities, and design tradeoffs.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
• Apply sound engineering judgment and professional expertise to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and practices.
• Ability to apply engineering concepts and established procedures to solve technical problems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a project-driven environment.
• Experience with requirements management, system architecture, modeling, simulation, traceability, or verification is highly relevant.
