Daily Responsibilities: Lead team of vet assistants and licensed techs to provide the best care for patients pre and post surgery Work with surgeons to coordinate receiving, rechecks, surgery prep, induction, monitoring, recovery, pack prep and discharge of surgery patients Help team grow thru education and experience Assist with interviewing new candidates for the team Be responsible of supply, surgical and drug inventories Be responsible for equipment maintenance reporting and coordination. Required Skills: Experienced DVM licensed in Georgia Demonstrated leadership experience Experience with small animals (dogs and cats) Proficient in anesthesia Ability to handle urgent and emergency care situations Nice to Have Skills: Experience with X-Rays/CT Strong surgical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Salary and Benefits: Minimum Salary: $140,000.00 Maximum Salary: $160,000.00 Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) Tuition Reimbursement Holiday Pay Paid Time Off Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: No
