Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Miami, Florida. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/26/2026 Duration: 6 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, evenings Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Emergency Room (ER) nurse position in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department. The role involves providing critical patient care during evening shifts, with orientation starting on 10/26/2026. This position requires experienced ER professionals capable of functioning effectively in a dynamic environment, with additional responsibilities including floating as needed and working every other weekend or holidays. Job Details: Schedule: Evenings shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid FL or Compact professional license; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certifications must be obtained prior to start; minimum of 2 years of ER experience; previous experience with Cerner electronic medical record system; orientation begins on 10/26/2026; all requested time off (RTO) must be included at submission. Preferred Qualifications: Prior ER experience in high-acuity settings. Additional Information: The candidate must pass an EKG exam during orientation. May be required to float within the healthcare providers facilities as needed. Travel: No travel required. Float: Float rotation may be required. End Date: 12/07/2026.
