Interview Process:


# of Steps: 1 virtual interview for an hour.


Pre-set Interview times and Follow Up Time: Next Tuesday 8am or 10am, or between 1-4pm; Next Wednesday 8am or 10am, or between 1-4pm

Must have:


SAP CPI - must have in depth experience. Minimum 2 years of experience with CPI specifically. Senior level overall


Recent migration to SAP PCI and have a backlog of tickets to resolve. Need an expert.

PROJECT DETAILS (Size, Scale, Scope):


What is the scope of work that is being completed?


Changing all Business platforms. Middleware and ERP systems. SAP PI consolidating to SAP CPI. Need an experienced developer to work on backlogs due to move and recent changes in July. Lot of data issues, break fix, tweaking logic for each integration, enhancements to go live and digital acceleration project. Need someone who knows CPI from mapping perspective. Want the ability to offload this accumulation to an expert as it is starting to impact business.


What part of the project is this resource supporting?


Day to day responsibilities


Break fix and mapping of backlog. Some mapping is enhancements. Finding out that data isn't actually supporting what they need.


Priority to minimize volume of backlog (modifying data in S4, tweaking what they already have, small changes here and there


Most of system is sized correctly

Candidates will generally have SAP PI 7.5 and above to SAP CPI

MUST HAVES (TOP 3):


1. 2-5 years of SAP CPI exp.


2. Ability to create mappings, error handling, and break fix


3. Understand processes of Change control, QA, then production


4. Ability to make recommendations on how SAP CPI is set up and if there are potentials for improvements

ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS:

• Technical Environment: SAP PCI, Groovy, Informatica (sunsetting), legacy SAP PI
• Team Size & Structure: HCL Team and Lead, interacting with on technical discussions daily, offshore team in India (half India time zone, half US zone)

PLS Issue:

• the team is working on design change but I'll follow up for any details.
• Changing middleware and ERP
• SAP PI (middle ware ETL) and Informatica (sunset in 2025) and consolidated to CP
• SAP CPI - cloud platform integration
• Purchased Data Service - completely different than CPI today (used to be a CPI DS)
• Equivalent to Legacy SAP PI

• Experience developer to work on backlogs
• A lot of break fix and need to tweak the logic for integration
• Some new for go-live not completed
• And then some pending project work
• Business is testing every scenario (prior to go-live only testing minimal)
• Finding the data isn't supporting
• Cases IDed about 4 buckets: redesign solution (longer term changes)

• Need to know CPI from mapping perspective
• Mostly Deloitte
• Prioritization as there is impact to business
