Safety & Training Manager

Safety & Training ManagerTresco is seeking a Safety & Training Manager to lead and strengthen our organization-wide safety and training programs. This is a key leadership role designed for a professional who is passionate about workplace safety, employee development, and building effective training systems that support operational excellence.As Tresco continues to grow, this role plays a critical part in ensuring our teams are well-trained, compliant, and supported. The Safety & Training Manager will work closely with leadership, project teams, and employees across multiple contracts to create consistent, practical, and impactful safety and training programs.Responsibilities include:Leading the development, implementation, and oversight of safety and training programs across the organizationDesigning and coordinating required safety, compliance, and professional development trainingsEnsuring compliance with OSHA, workers' compensation, and applicable federal, state, and contract-specific requirementsOverseeing accident investigations, incident reporting, and corrective action follow-upCoordinating new hire orientation and ongoing training initiativesTracking training completion, certifications, and compliance documentationPartnering with managers and leadership to identify training needs and improve safety practicesSupporting emergency preparedness planning and safety auditsSupervising and supporting safety and training staff, as applicablePreparing reports and recommendations for leadershipQualifications include:Bachelor's degree in safety, training, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety, training, compliance, or a related roleExperience developing and delivering training programsStrong understanding of workplace safety principles and compliance requirementsAbility to work collaboratively across departments and influence without direct authorityExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and training management systemsPreferred experience includes:Experience in regulated or contract-based environmentsSupervisory or leadership experienceCPR/First Aid, Defensive Driving, or safety-related certificationsWhy work at Tresco?At Tresco, our mission is to create meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities while delivering high-quality services to our customers.
