- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments and services to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient health.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including electronic medical records (EMR).
- Valid RN license in Washington.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical/surgical setting is preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care assignments in a fast-paced environment.
