Someone who is both professional, friendly, and cares about others will thrive in this role.Under the direction of the Dining Services Director, a Dining Room Server performs a variety of tasks in the preparation, service, and clean up for lunch and dinner meals served to our residents. Some of the general responsibilities of a Dining Server include, but are not limited to:Upholds a high level of customer service when dealing with staff, residents, families, and guests — addressing questions and concerns with respect and thoughtfulnessCreates an enjoyable dining experience for residents and their guestsFollows established guidelines while serving in the main dining room and at special functionsChecks with hostess on duty for any special meal arrangementsServes residents promptly in an orderly and polite manner, bussing tables between courses in an organized manner, and resetting tables dailyFollows all safety and sanitation rules and regulationsFollows instructions, works well with others, and maintains a good rapport with residentsRefers all problems to host/hostess or member of the management staffPresents a clean and professional appearanceCooperates with staff of other departments in performing job dutiesWe are looking for a Full Time and/or Part Time Dining Room Server.
