Production Worker

Job Title: Production Workers in 2nd & 3rd shift!

Job Description

We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as 1st shift general production workers at our main facility. You will be responsible for using hand tools and a tape measure to follow work instructions and assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products. All lifting will be done as a team, but you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35lbs on your own a few times per shift. There is also an opportunity to train on machinery once hired.

Responsibilities

• Have working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Press, Weld, Paint department.

• Efficiently load and unload paint systems and stack equipment, including sealing, labeling, and stacking of various panels within established standards.

• Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards and notify appropriate personnel of issues.

• Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.

• Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of products or materials.

• Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

• Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions including Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Manufacturing Operating Procedures (MOPs), Job Safety Analysis (JSAs), and Safety Manual.

• Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools

• Experience as a general laborer or in production

• Ability to use a tape measure

• Familiarity with assembly processes

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.35 - $19.35/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
