Buildings Div-Lancaster Chief Buildings 992 Quality Drive Lancaster, SC 29720, USA Responsible for properly packaging and labeling finished products and loading them onto flatbed or enclosed trailers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well‑being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards. May operate on or more of the following: overhead crane, forklift, shag tractor and trailer and other material handling equipment. Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing the required safety equipment. Keeps work area neat and orderly. Properly complete all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to the job responsibilities. Adheres to all quality standards and inspection procedures. Perform routine maintenance of assigned machines. Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision. Education High School Diploma or GED preferred. Shift: 7:30pm-6:00am Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for creating a collaborative, safe and hazard‑free environment that is driven by employee involvement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to leading departmental continuous improvement projects, supporting and executing all safety and health policies and programs, employee training and incident investigations.
