Horse Driver Transportation Specialist (Interstate)Company: Executive Management, LLC Locations: Florida & Ohio (Interstate Travel Required) Employment Type: Full-Time Reports To: Executive LeadershipExecutive Management, LLC is seeking an experienced Horse Driver Transportation Specialist (Interstate) responsible for the safe, efficient, and professional transport of thoroughbred horses between farm locations, training facilities, veterinary appointments, and other designated destinations.This role requires an individual who is well-versed in interstate horse transportation, experienced in handling thoroughbreds, and capable of managing the logistics associated with long-distance equine travel. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and effective communication skills, while maintaining the highest standards of horse safety and care.This is a hands-on position involving driving company-provided trucks and trailers, assisting with horse handling, and ensuring compliance with all transportation regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport horses interstate using company-provided trucks and trailersLoad and unload horses safely and calmlyMonitor horses during transport for safety and well-beingPlan and execute travel routes, rest stops, and travel schedulesCoordinate pick-up and delivery times with farm managers and leadershipEnsure proper documentation accompanies all transported horsesOperate company-provided trucks and horse trailers safely and responsiblyConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and trailersMaintain cleanliness and readiness of trailers and transportation equipmentMonitor vehicle maintenance needs and coordinate service as requiredEnsure proper bedding and safety setup within trailersMonitor horse condition before, during, and after transportEnsure proper hydration, ventilation, and comfort during travelRespond appropriately to horse behavior or travel-related issuesCommunicate any health or safety concerns immediatelyEnsure compliance with interstate transportation regulationsMaintain required documentation including health certificates and permitsFollow safety procedures and company transportation protocolsMaintain travel logs and trip documentationAssist with general farm operations when not transporting horsesSupport loading and preparation for veterinary visits or relocationCoordinate with farm staff to prepare horses for travelAssist with stall preparation and arrival logisticsRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of experience transporting horses interstateExperience handling thoroughbred horses preferredValid driver's license with clean driving recordExperience operating trucks and horse trailersStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessProactive mindset and ability to anticipate travel needsEffective communication skillsAbility to travel frequently and work flexible hoursExecutive Management, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
