Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: - Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years - Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience License: - Oregon nursing license (must be obtained) Certifications: - ACLS - BLS - TNCC - PALS Must-Have: - Willingness to obtain required certifications and license Description: Within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing, the nurse applies the nursing process to the care of patients. The nurse teaches patients and significant others. The nurse documents patient care in the medical record. The nurse collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall care of the patient.
