Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT)

Uplift Massage & Spa is seeking skilled licensed massage therapists who wants top-of-the-industry & benefits, a flexible schedule and the opportunity to grow in a supportive spa environment!

Pay

We offer 50% commission to our massage therapists. For example, on our base 1 hour massage you earn $45 + tip! We also run monthly specials, client discounts and loyalty programs, and most of these do not reduce provider commission.

Our service providers have a lot of freedom when it comes to time off so you also have ample opportunity to pick up extra/open shifts on top of your regularly scheduled hours. At this time we are very interested in LMTs who can work weekend shifts, though all are welcome to apply.

Benefits

Part-time LMTs earn PTO at a rate of 1 hour of PTO for every 30 hours of massage performed .

Full-time LMTs earn one week of PTO during their first year and two weeks of PTO each year after that .

For massage therapists, full-time status is achieved by either having 30 hours on schedule per week or 20 hours of hands‑on massage per week once you have built a strong repeat clientele.

We also offer retirement benefits to both part‑time and full‑time employees through a SIMPLE IRA plan , including up to a 3% employer matching contribution .

About the Role

Applicants with at least 6 months experience of full time spa / massage therapist work are preferred but it is not a requirement. As an LMT at Uplift you will sometimes be required to check clients in and out so a pleasant demeanor and good customer service is a must. The biggest factor we take into consideration when hiring for this position is your skill as a massage therapist. We aren't just trying to fill a spot--we want an LMT who can perform to the Uplift standard while still using their own style and modality of massage.

Massage therapists at Uplift may occasionally assist with checking clients in or out, so a friendly attitude and good customer service are important.

Every treatment room includes a hydraulic table to improve the client experience and reduce strain on the therapist’s body over time. Rooms are also equipped with double hot towel warmers, aromatherapy diffusers, fans, and Mother Earth pillows. We work hard to provide our therapists with the tools and environment they need to offer some of the best massage therapy services in the 417.
