Title : Human Services Program Coordinator State Role Title : Prog Admin Specialist II Hiring Range : $29.71 - $35.07 Pay Band : 5 Agency : Virginia Department of Health Location : VDH-Central Office Agency Website : Recruitment Type : General Public - G Responsibilities This position is responsible for coordinating and facilitating a statewide legislative advisory committee tasked with addressing forensic nursing for sexual assault patients. The Coordinator will engage in self‑directed research and awareness of emerging sexual assault and related injury and violence prevention issues, review, develop, and facilitate information sharing, and report development. The Coordinator will also assist with other related violence prevention projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Experience with program development and planning. Skills in training and meeting facilitation, and ability to effectively present information. Experience with providing technical assistance to partners and stakeholders. Skills to prepare technical documents and write reports. Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities, and work independently. Additional Considerations Experience in clinical nursing practice working directly with those who have experienced sexual assault. Experience in systems level public health work or operating from a complex systems framework. Experience with public health concepts including primary prevention programming.
