Job Title: Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift

Job Description

Join a growing manufacturing team as a 1st shift Maintenance Technician, where you will maintain and repair food packaging equipment and facility systems in a GMP environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and support continuous operations for custom packaging production.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot food packaging machinery, including conveyors, pumps, motors, boilers, cappers, and labelers.
• Complete weekly preventive maintenance (PM) activities on production and facility equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Inspect, adjust, and service mechanical components to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all machinery.
• Apply knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics to troubleshoot and repair related systems on production equipment.
• Follow GMP and safety standards while working in a food packaging environment, maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Essential Skills

• At least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment.
• At least 3 years of experience troubleshooting conveyors, pumps, and food packaging machinery.
• At least 3 years of experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics, including troubleshooting and repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems and components.

Work Environment

You will work in a GMP-compliant food packaging environment focused on cleanliness, safety, and consistent processes. The role is on 1st shift, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

This is a Permanent position based out of Ixonia, WI.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.

- Direct Hire - Pay is above average market: $30-$40 an hour - PTO (up to 3 weeks to start) - Family Culture - host a lot of events - troubleshoot issues together a. Cookouts b. Gift cards c. Bonus programs - $50 dollar gift cards - Bonuses distributed each quarter up to 4% a. Have done this the last 18 out of 20 quarters - Medical - Dental - Vision - Join a growing & expanding company - they are building a new extension currently which will be done by the start of Fall

This is a fully onsite position in Ixonia,WI.
