Here you are part of a team pushing boundaries today to redefine the work of tomorrow for organizations, their employees, and those they serve.You’ll have opportunities to learn and lead in a forward-thinking environment, defining your path to a fulfilling career while channeling your skills toward causes you care about—locally and globally.Come make an impact every day at Zebra.What We're Looking For:This second shift Supervisor Operations manages the day-to-day execution of Zebra’s manufacturing, distribution or repair businesses, with direct oversight and accountability for the people, productivity, safety, quality and other KPIs with the associated business / site.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesManages up to 35 employees and / or contract workers in an operational area; Is directly responsible for the hiring, onboarding, training, performance, and engagement of the staffAssigns daily work, monitors progress, engages to resolve obstacles to ensure KPIs are metCollaborates with peers across shifts and functions to support optimized performance across the site / businessIntentionally engages to drive a culture of belonging, development, safely, continuous improvement and high performanceModels Zebra’s culture and values for the teams they leadCompiles and analyzes operational data; Prepares reports for leadership that include proposals to address performance gaps in the teamEvaluates performance of subordinates, provides coaching and feedback to support success; Conducts performance appraisals and determines pay increases for direct reports in alignment with Zebra’s philosophies and practicesPartners with Human Resources to recommend personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, discharges and disciplineParticipates or leads projects as assignedPerforms other duties as assignedJob RequirementsEducation: Associate’s degree in a related field or equivalent supervisory experience in a related industryWork Experience: 6+ years of experience including minimum 1 year as team lead /supervisorKey Skills and CompetenciesEffective written and verbal communication skillsMust possess strong problem solving, decision-making and analytical skillsIntermediate level skills in MS Office and Microsoft systemsWorking knowledge of ISO standards and guidelinesKnowledge of quality and statistical analysis tools and methodologiesEqual Opportunity Employer:Zebra is an equal opportunity employer.
