Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgical or procedural interventions
• Monitor and assess patient status during the immediate post-operative period, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Participate in on-call coverage, including approximately 4 weeknight call shifts per month
• Participate in weekend call coverage, including approximately 1 weekend of day call per month and 1 weekend of night call every 6 weeks
• Fulfill holiday call obligations, including 1 evening and day-after holiday shift and 1 holiday call shift per rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification required
• Ability to work a shift schedule of 0900–2130
• Availability and willingness to fulfill on-call requirements as outlined in the schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PACU, surgical, or critical care nursing setting
• ACLS certification preferred
• Familiarity with post-anesthesia assessment tools and pain management protocols
