Benefits for Full-Time Employees Highly competitive pay and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, life insurance) Company‑paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid time off – 7 holidays, and 11 vacation days Free daily meal every shift 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting Tuition reimbursement for career growth Company‑paid short & long‑term disability insurance Pet insurance and team member discounts Advance Pay benefit – access wages before payday A stable, growing company with opportunities for advancement Benefits for Part-Time Employees Free daily meal every shift 401(k) with company match and immediate vesting Company‑paid Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition reimbursement for career growth Pet insurance and team member discounts Advance Pay benefit – access wages before payday A stable, growing company with opportunities for advancement Responsibilities Perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned, including installations and repairs involving plumbing and electrical equipment, fire and sprinkler equipment, HVAC, landscape, carpentry work, painting, and equipment repair Understand and have knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) Ensure that walls, floor coverings, doors, windows, furniture, and woodwork in the common areas are properly maintained and repaired Have basic prep and painting abilities Repair and maintain vacated rooms in a timely manner, including painting walls and cleaning carpets Handle all in‑house plumbing, e.g., sinks, toilets and bathtubs Perform minor electrical work within units and common areas, e.g., light switches, wall outlets, garbage disposals Paint all apartments and common areas Repair, clean and maintain all carpet, floor coverings and furniture Complete all work orders promptly, noting any additional work completed not listed on the work order Document safety issues and physical plan deficiencies related to local, county, state and federal guidelines Assist management in preventative maintenance and cleaning of community vehicles (buses and cars, vans) Assist with training and development of safety procedures and hazard communications Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor, Regional Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager Respond immediately and appropriately to all accidents and emergencies, based on established protocol Other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred (must be at least 18 years of age) 1–3 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required Demonstrated knowledge of building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, floor care, heating and HVAC skills Prefer knowledge of fire suppression & irrigation systems Prefer motor vehicle maintenance ability Flexible and must be able to work evenings and weekends as necessary Physical Requirements This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 90 lbs), pushing/pulling, and other physical activities.
