Cardiovascular Technician

Cardiovascular Tech RCIS, RCESA large, integrated healthcare system is seeking a certified Cardiovascular Technologist to join a high-volume cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology team. The ideal candidate holds a current RCIS or RCES credential and brings strong hands-on experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. This is a full-time opportunity within a well-resourced, high-acuity cardiovascular program that values clinical excellence and team collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for invasive cardiovascular procedures including diagnostic cath, PCI, and EP studiesSet up and operate specialized cardiovascular equipment including hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors, and fluoroscopy systemsPrepare and maintain sterile procedural trays and equipment for each caseMonitor and document hemodynamic data throughout procedures and communicate changes to the clinical teamAssist physicians during complex interventional and electrophysiology cases as directedMaintain accurate procedure logs, patient records, and inventory documentationEnsure all equipment is properly cleaned, maintained, and inspected in compliance with safety and infection control protocolsParticipate in on-call rotation as required by department staffing needsProvide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced cardiovascular techs and studentsStay current with advances in cardiovascular technology, protocols, and best practices through continuing educationRequirementsCurrent RCIS or RCES certification requiredMinimum of 2 years of cardiovascular laboratory experience in a hospital or high-volume procedural settingProficiency with hemodynamic monitoring, fluoroscopy, and cath lab equipmentStrong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to invasive cardiovascular proceduresAbility to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environmentStrong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staffMust be authorized to work in the United StatesPreferred QualificationsExperience in a related field is preferredScreening QuestionsHow many years of experience do you have relevant to this Cardiovascular Tech RCIS, RCES role?Do you hold any required licenses or certifications for this position?Are you available to work onsite in Happy Valley, OR?
