Responsibilities include translating documents, facilitating communication, and supporting administrative tasks. 31k-39k Position Admin (Japanese-English Interpreter) Summary This position will support administrative, accounting, and interpretation needs related to a newly established company (AOA) created for an M&A acquisition. Primary responsibilities include Japanese–English interpretation during meetings with the acquired company’s President and CFO, basic accounting tasks for AOA, and general administrative support. Since AOA was established solely for acquisition purposes and does not operate an independent business, accounting duties will be relatively straightforward. Essential Duties Provide Japanese–English interpretation during meetings with the President and CFO of the acquired company Accompany newly assigned expatriates to visits at the M&A target company as needed Handle basic accounting tasks for AOA, including simple bookkeeping and invoice processing Assist with data entry, filing, and documentation related to accounting and administration Perform general administrative tasks to support management and operations Support other administrative or accounting-related duties as assigned Working Hours / Working Style Part‑time position (up to 30 hours per week). Primarily on‑site at the office. Occasional visits to the acquired company together with expatriates.
