Clinical Laboratory Assistant I

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Clinical Laboratory Assistant I to join our team. In this role, you will support laboratory operations by preparing specimens, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to follow established protocols to assist laboratory professionals in delivering accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, label, and prepare clinical specimens for testing
• Perform routine laboratory tasks such as cleaning and sterilizing equipment
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents
• Assist in data entry and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping
• Adhere to safety and quality control procedures in the laboratory
• Support laboratory staff in daily operations to facilitate efficient workflow

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in laboratory technology is a plus
• Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and terminology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
