What you'll do:Lead construction project execution to ensure timely delivery within scope and budget, directing contractors, architects, and engineers.Review and approve construction drawings and specifications to align with design standards before procurement and construction.Manage construction compliance by enforcing adherence to Walmart and regulatory standards throughout project lifecycle.Coordinate with vendors and contractors to resolve issues, negotiate change orders, and monitor performance metrics.Collaborate cross-functionally with Store Development, Facilities, Procurement, and Operations to align construction with business priorities.Drive process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and document best practices.Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management to construction teams.What you'll bring:Extensive experience in construction project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.Proven ability to lead and coordinate general contractors, architects, and engineering teams to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.Strong skills in risk management, quality control, and vendor performance monitoring.Expertise in construction compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and Walmart safety standards.Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and effective communication with multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in driving process improvements and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.Solid financial management skills, including cost control and budget tracking.
