Step into the role that sets production in motion

At 6:00 AM, you scan the build plan, roll up to a Niigata cell, and start bringing a new tool online. You verify the mold, material, color, and inserts, connect water lines and hot runners, dial in barrel and mold temperatures, then fine-tune injection speeds and pressures until first-off samples meet spec. By mid-morning, the line is stable, operators are supported, and cycle times are locked in. When a machine alarm pops up, you troubleshoot quickly—isolating whether it’s material, temperature, cooling, or equipment—and keep production flowing.

• Execute safe, efficient mold changeovers on plastic injection molding machines.
• Set up and prepare Niigata and Toyo equipment for production, including all required auxiliary devices (dryers, loaders, chillers, temperature controllers, granulators, robots, and material handling systems).
• Install and secure molds; connect water, hot runner, and hydraulic lines; confirm all connections prior to startup.
• Configure machine parameters per setup sheets, work instructions, and standard processes: barrel/mold temps, injection speeds/pressures, screw speed, back pressure, cooling time, and related settings.
• Purge and prepare machines; establish a stable molding process; run initial samples and adjust to achieve consistent, quality parts.
• Verify parts meet dimensional, visual, and quality requirements before releasing to production.
• Document and maintain machine settings according to company standards; monitor process stability and cycle times throughout the run.

• Diagnose issues across machines, molds, materials, and auxiliaries; resolve molding defects and production interruptions.
• Determine root causes—settings, mold condition, material, temperature, cooling, or equipment—and make targeted process corrections while protecting quality and cycle-time goals.
• Identify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or electrical problems and engage Maintenance when needed.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Production to eliminate repeat issues.
• Support operators after setup, respond to issues during the shift, reduce scrap and downtime, and assist with job changes as schedules evolve.

First Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Thursday (OT as needed)

Pay: $26–$30 per hour, based on experience

• Ability to independently set up and run Niigata and Toyo injection molding machines.
• Minimum of 2 years of plastic injection molding setup experience.
• Hands-on proficiency in: Niigata and Toyo platforms, performing mold changes, machine setup, troubleshooting, and end-to-end process stabilization.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, quick problem solving, and responsiveness to production needs.
