We are located in LIC and seek a friendly, highly motivated, organized, pro-active, creative and self-disciplined individual junior architect with 2- 5 years of practical experience. 2-5 years’ experience in high-end residential design and construction. Strong Communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or equivalent. Proficiency in residential construction documents. Familiarity with NYS and NYC Building Codes and Building Practices. Experience with the coordination of consultants including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Structural engineers as well as lighting designers and other consultants. Strong experience with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Enscape, Adobe Suite including Photoshop, In-design and other computer application literacy. Oral and written command of the English Language. Multi-tasking/time management skills: the ability to work on several projects at the same time in either a management or production role. Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Execute projects through all phases of design. Actively communicate and collaborate with design and technical leadership. Produce high quality drawings in conformance with project time, scope and quality parameters.. Effectively document designs through Construction Documents, Construction Administration, and final punch list.. Candidates must be eligible to work in the US.
