About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the next phase of growth for its technology and AI organization. The CTO will be responsible for leading the technology team, which includes engineering, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, and product, and will have a direct impact on the company's proprietary platforms and operational systems. This role demands a leader who is both AI-forward and product-forward, with a proven track record in building and deploying production AI systems and a deep understanding of how technology can drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will be expected to define and own the technical strategy, architect the AI governance framework, and ensure the technology team is aligned with the company's growth objectives. Candidates for the CTO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' progressive leadership experience in software engineering, with a preference for those who have held senior technical roles in venture-backed or PE-backed companies. The role requires a leader with a strong background in applied artificial intelligence, including experience with agent systems and LLM integration, and a history of shipping proprietary software platforms that have delivered measurable business results. The CTO will also be responsible for building and retaining a high-performing technical team, setting the hiring bar for engineering and AI talent, and operating at the executive level with direct engagement with the CEO, boards, and institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have a background in operations-heavy businesses, experience with major technology investments, and a proven ability to lead technical organizations through periods of growth or transformation.
