Project Manager - Construction & Organizational Systems

Key Job Functions As Project Manager, Construction & Organizational Systems, you will oversee and manage assigned projects from inception to completion, including construction projects, tenant improvements, organizational systems, process improvements, facilities projects, and other internal initiatives. While construction project management experience is preferred, the role also requires the ability to manage non‑construction systems and cross‑functional projects across the organization. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. A strong background in military service is preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Plan, organize, track, and manage all phases of assigned projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget. Identify and document status updates from stakeholders. Develop and implement project plans, schedules, options, and budgets, using project management software such as Smartsheet. Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, vendors, and team members. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving issues promptly. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies throughout the lifecycle. Prepare and present weekly project status reports to senior management and stakeholders. Provide daily updates when requested. Attend all project meetings—including kick‑off, progress, and close‑out meetings—fostering a collaborative environment. Represent senior leadership when directed. Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, close‑out documents, trackers, system documentation, action items, and related records. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Support implementation, tracking, and improvement of organizational systems and processes. Manage multiple project types simultaneously, maintaining clear priorities, documentation, and communication. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Work Experience The candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation. PMP certification preferred but not required; equivalent project management experience, especially in construction or facilities environments, will be considered. Construction project management experience preferred, including tenant improvements, facilities upgrades, subcontractor coordination, schedules, and documentation. Experience managing non‑construction projects is valued, including organizational systems, process improvements, and cross‑functional initiatives. Military background or experience in disciplined, mission‑focused environments is valued, but not required. Demonstrated experience using project management software and tools. General Contracting license preferred, but not required. Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and applicable regulations preferred. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Important Notes Position Details: Full‑time salaried (exempt) position (40+ hours/week). Pay: Base pay only, no incentive compensation. Annual range: $95,000.00 – $125,000.00. Benefits and Perks: Comprehensive benefits available from the 1st of the month after hire. Options include medical (50% employer contribution), dental and vision coverage (100% employer contribution), a 401(k) program with employer match up to $1,000 per year, 8 paid holidays, and paid time off.
