Rockwell/FTBatch Control Systems EngineerWorks directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission and qualify Rockwell/FTBatch control systems. Mentors and guides junior engineers in the execution of projects.ResponsibilitiesWork in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturingDevelop Life Cycle documents, Control Panel, Network Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standardsRedline P&ID drawingsDefine and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurationsTesting and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systemsLead teams of engineers and technicians to provide control system solutionsMentor less experienced engineersDevelop engineering standards to improve efficiency and accuracy of project executionProvide technical sales support to RoviSys business development teamDay to Day Activities:Interfacing with the clients in design meetings and conference callsWorking with the project team leading less experienced engineers and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineerProgramming Rockwell controllers and FactoryTalk Batch applicationsDesigning electrical control cabinets and panelsTesting the system configuration to verify functionsTravel to client site for project meetingsTravel to client site for system commissioningQualifications2-7 years of experience in automationPlatforms: Rockwell PLCs, PlantPAx, FTBatchThorough understanding of control system design and codingSelf-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with peopleB.S. in Electrical, Computer, or Chemical Engineering or Engineering TechnologyHands-on experience with current FactoryTalk BatchAuthorized to work in the U.S. without RoviSys sponsorshipCompensation & Benefits HighlightsCompetitive Base Salary: $90,000–$129,000, depending on experiencePerformance Bonuses: Bonus structure designed to reward resultsTravel Perks: Travel incentives + per-diem packages for field assignmentsFull Benefits Package: Medical, dental, and vision coverageRetirement Ready: 401(k) with company matchTime Off: Generous PTO which includes vacation, holidays, and unlimited personal timeGrow With Us: Ongoing training, certifications, and professional development support
