As a vital member of our outpatient clinic, you will provide specialized mental health services to address a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents in a supportive, reassuring manner. \n
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages of patients and the complexities of family relationships. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for children and adolescents, focusing on issues such as anxiety and ADHD. \n
- Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and empower parents and caregivers, fostering a nurturing home environment. \n
- Collaborate with child psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care and comprehensive treatment strategies. \n
- Provide crisis intervention support to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies. \n
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment strategies, and community resources important for recovery. \n
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards. \n
- Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous education sessions to share insights and enhance team capabilities. \n
- Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and innovative techniques in child and adolescent psychiatry. \n
This role primarily revolves around working with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, supporting them through various mental health challenges. You will engage with families to create a supportive network, addressing behavioral issues and emotional distress that may affect their daily lives and academic performance. Your compassionate and child-centered approach will be crucial in building trust and rapport with both the young patients and their families.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required. \n
- Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory. \n
- In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities is essential. \n
- Previous experience providing individual and family therapy to young populations is preferred. \n
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to connect with children and adolescents. \n
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology. \n
- Strong collaborative capabilities, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team structure. \n

- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing mental health therapy, preferably in a pediatric or adolescent setting. \n
- Experience with crisis intervention strategies and family therapy methodologies. \n
- Familiarity with local community resources and programs related to mental health. \n
