ResourceMFG is now hiring a Machinist II in Ogden, UT!
We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to independently set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes and mills while producing high-quality precision components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: $25-$32 DOE
Key Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines.
- Select, install, and verify tooling, fixtures, and machine offsets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
- Perform first article and in-process inspections using precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues.
- Make program edits and machine adjustments to improve performance and quality.
- Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Calculate speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
- Support continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized work area.
- High School Diploma or GED required. 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
