Purpose This position will hold a senior-level position, providing strategic guidance and technical leadership in civil engineering projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, planning, and execution of large-scale civil engineering projects, driving innovation, and ensuring adherence to industry standards. Responsibilities Design Review Project Implementation Project Planning Project Status Reporting Scope Management Competencies Perform building sizing and selection, alternative analyses, and other deliverables. Support the engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of facilities. Present engineering and design deliverables to project members, cross-functional teams, senior leadership, external vendors, clients, and other stakeholders. Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress to support project reporting and schedule requirements. Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Prepares, reviews, and approves foundation, structural steel, building, and earthwork calculations, requisitions, studies, reports, BOMs, and designs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related field. Five or more (5+) years of experience required. Professional Engineer licensure preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience in civil engineering principles and practices, particularly in the energy sector. Advanced proficiency in emerging civil engineering software and tools. Strong understanding of environmental and sustainability considerations. Advanced proficiency in geotechnical and structural engineering principles. In‑depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and best practices. Excellent facilitation, communication, and analytical skills – written and verbal. High level of personal integrity.
