About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable Class B CDL Driver for a local heavy equipment delivery position in Louisville. This direct-hire opportunity offers home-daily routes, competitive pay, and a consistent weekday schedule with rotating Saturdays.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $26 per hour or more, depending on experience
• Overtime available after 40 hours
• Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday shifts
• Start time: 6:30 a.M.
• 9- to 10-hour shifts
• 40 hours per week
• Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local deliveries
• Equipment: Rollback truck with automatic transmission
• Freight: Heavy equipment, including boom lifts, scissor lifts, forklifts, skid steers, and light towers
• Handling: Heavy touch freight requiring equipment to be chained and strapped
• Operator certifications are provided for forklifts, telehandlers, and boom lifts
• On-site position

Key Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries safely and efficiently
• Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy equipment
• Properly chain and strap equipment for transport
• Perform thorough vehicle and equipment inspections
• Maintain clear communication with customers and team members
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and transportation regulations
• Provide dependable service while maintaining a professional attitude

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class B CDL
• 6+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• 6+ months of construction industry experience
• Heavy equipment experience required;
  boom lift and forklift experience strongly preferred
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
