Renewals + Future Buy-In

Location: North Platte, NE 69101 / West-Central Nebraska 

Job Type: Full-time 

Compensation: $60,000–$125,000+ per year (base salary + new-business commissions + renewal commissions)

Team Member Hire has been retained to lead a confidential search for a newly formed independent insurance agency in west-central Nebraska. The agency is being launched by seasoned insurance leadership and will have appointments with a wide range of national and regional carriers.

You would be the first producer on the team, building alongside a principal with more than 30 years in the business and a service professional who is already in place. It is a ground-floor seat with the support structure already built.

What You'll Do

• Generate new personal and commercial lines business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Build lasting relationships with business owners, individuals, referral sources, and community partners
• Evaluate coverage needs and recommend the right options
• Quote across the agency's carrier lineup and present competitive proposals
• Run a disciplined follow-up process and keep prospects moving toward close
• Grow and protect a profitable book of business
• Hand new accounts to the agency's service professional cleanly and keep the client experience seamless
• Represent the agency well across west-central Nebraska

What We're Looking For

• Prior Property and Casualty insurance sales experience (required)
• Independent agency background strongly preferred
• Commercial lines experience is a major advantage
• Active Nebraska P&C license, or the ability to transfer your existing license
• A verifiable track record of insurance sales and relationship-building
• Self-starter who is competitive and motivated by earning potential and ownership
• Strong communication, prospecting, and follow-through skills
• Comfortable operating independently without close daily supervision

Where You'll Work

Home base is North Platte, Nebraska. Strong candidates from across the region, including Kearney, Grand Island, and surrounding communities, are encouraged to apply. There is flexibility in where you produce from, but you should expect to build relationships and do business throughout west-central Nebraska.

Pay Details

Expected total compensation is $60,000–$125,000+ per year, made up of a base salary, new-business commissions, and renewal commissions. Actual earnings depend on your experience, production, and the size of the book you build. Top performers will build recurring renewal income and can pursue a performance-based buy-in to agency ownership.
