Software Engineer - AI (Top Secret Clearance Required)North Point Technology is looking to hire an AI Engineer to lead artificial intelligence solutions on our FS2 Sea task order team. The qualified candidate must hold an active TS security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI with CI Polygraph, and will design, develop, and deploy AI capabilities across multiple operational cloud environments. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across modern AI technologies and cloud architecture and thrives on solving challenging problems that push Sea based systems beyond conventional outcomes. ***This job requires active TS clearance. Please apply only if you have an active TS clearance. *** Responsibilities:This position focuses on leading the design and implementation of AI architectures, including operational monitoring, coding improvements, and secure dashboard tooling. The engineer collaborates on North Point Technology's AI initiatives by providing insight into emerging technologies, tooling, and best practices, and will design, secure, and automate AWS cloud initiatives that optimize agent and customer experiences to their full AI potential. Additional duties include enhancing software development workflows, quality metrics, KPIs, and dashboards with AI, applying broad systems engineering lifecycle experience to cloud architectural design and development, and leading teams to deploy and configure services using AI tools.Required Skills/Experience:Subject matter expertise across a range of AI technologiesProficient in PythonDesigning and implementing distributed, cloud based solutions (Cloud, SOA, Web Services)Experience with Cloud/PaaS environmentsCI/CD and DevOps tooling such as GitLab and JenkinsInfrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and TerraformDatabase development, for example with PostgreSQLPreferred Skills/Experience:Windows and Linux system administrationKnowledge of SDLC and Agile best practices, including Scrum and KanbanVirtualization, networking, and operating system experienceInfrastructure monitoring with ZabbixSecurity compliance scanning with ACASTeam collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, and RocketChatUnderstanding of the SFH organization and Sea data and missionExperience with NGA cloud based architectureExperience with IC Cloud architecture implementation methodologiesExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and projectsAWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Developer, or Machine LearningQualifications:Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance with the ability to obtain SCI with CI PolygraphDoD 8570 compliant certification (IAT Level II/III, e.g., Security+ or higher)Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldNorth Point Technology is THE BEST place to work for curious-minded engineers motivated to support our country's most crucial missions!
