Pay Rate: $23.00 - 31.00/hr depending on experience and shiftShift: 7am–3pm, 3pm-11pm or 11am-7am depending on shift time, standing for the majority of an 8-hour shift with two breaks - 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts  Why you should apply to be Machinist:

What’s a typical day as Machinist? You’ll be:

• Performing repairs, reconditioning, and routine maintenance on press dies and tooling fixtures according to blueprints and schematics
• Operating computer-controlled lathes, grinders, polishers, and EDM machines to resurface and repair fixtures
• Prioritizing repairs to maximize production uptime and meet delivery deadlines
• Coordinating with supervisors to ensure tooling availability and departmental goals are met
• Organizing outsourced repairs and adhering strictly to safety procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out protocols

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a High School diploma or GED (technical degree preferred but not required)
• Are eager to learn, grow, and develop your skills in precision manufacturing
• Are comfortable standing for most of your shift and occasionally lifting up to 33 lbs
• Pay close attention to detail and are committed to workplace safety
• Can apply basic mathematical knowledge, including trigonometry, to troubleshoot and repair tooling issues
• Are able to use blueprints, schematics, scopes, optical comparators, and precision measuring devices for repairs and inspections
