Duties

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and functional limitations.

• Develop and implement tailored care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.

• Provide hands-on therapy sessions focusing on pain relief, injury rehabilitation, and functional improvement.

• Coordinate discharge planning with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transitions from hospital to home or community care settings.

• Educate patients and their families on exercises, injury prevention strategies, and home care routines to support ongoing recovery.

• Maintain accurate documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including progress notes and treatment plans.

• Stay current with advancements in physiotherapy practices by engaging in continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure or registration as a licensed Physical Therapist in Pennsylvania.

• Experience working in acute care, inpatient hospital settings, outpatient clinics, or home health environments.

• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and rehabilitation techniques such as trigger point therapy.

• Familiarity with documentation and patient management.

• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
